Understanding Short Notice Assessment
This 3-hour webinar focuses on the NSQHS Standards Short Notice Assessment which has a maximum notice (in most settings) of 24 business hours.

On 1 July 2023 accreditation assessment moved from an announced assessment to a short notice methodology, by the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in health care settings.
The concept behind this methodology is Health Service organisations will be assessed during business as usual as opposed to a scheduled prepared event.
This is a 3-hour training session. We acknowledge attendance and time spent in learning which may be used to apply for CPD points from your professional registration body.

Meet Your Presenter
Ms Yvonne McCann
Masters HSM, Grad Cert Mgt, BA (anthropology), Paed Cert, RN, RM
Accreditation Assessor
Yvonne McCann has more than 40 year's experience working at national, state, area and local health services as a clinician, educator, manager and in senior management positions.
Yvonne has worked in most Australia States in teaching, metropolitan and regional hospitals, community and health departments. She has worked in a variety of services as a frontline clinician, educator and manager. Yvonne was a participant in an Australian American Nurse Exchange program and study tour.
She has a keen interest in continuous improvement, education and workforce support. Yvonne was an ACHS Assessor for almost 15 years and also a Coordinator for 3 years during that time.

Discounted Registration Fees
Discounted fees are provided for ACHS and ACHSI Members and IA Affiliates. Please ensure your organisation is a current member of ACHS at the time of registration. If you are unsure of your organisation's membership status, please contact your Clinical Governance Unit.

Payments and Invoicing
Please note that registrations for this event are managed by Eventbrite which accepts payment with credit or debit card. Registrants will receive an automated tax invoice/receipt once they have finalised their payment. This can be used for reimbursement purposes. Cancellation Policy
The ACHS reserves the right to cancel any program. Full registration will be refunded if a program is cancelled or oversubscribed. Cancellations received in writing more than 7 days prior to the event will be accepted and all fees refunded less 10% (ex GST) of the total cost of the training. Cancellations advised in writing within 7 days of the event will not be refunded, however, transfer of your registration to another person in your organisation or an alternative IA event for the same value is supported.
